I have wavy hair with short layers and my hair straightener isn't that good. I can only get the volume, poof, and frizziness down but it won't actually straighten.

I have a Conair Dry 'N Straight 1 1/2" Wet to Dry Ceramic Straightener.

And is my styling product good? It's the Matrix sleek look smoothing system (iron smoother) ? (hairspray)

I have a remington Wet 2 Straight and it works wonderful ( my hair is curly) and it straightens soo well! it's onlly like 20 bucks. :)
