kso, i got it cut short like 4 months ago and it grew like 3 inches already! anyways, the longest layer is on my shoulders. i hate the way it looks, so i need a easy way to style my hair but make it actually look good. thanks :]

Use a good ceramic flatiron on your hair to blend in the layers plus you can add a little curl under or over just by bending your iron into the direction you want. Do small sections at a time--1" or1 1/2" of hair at a time. Take your time until you get used to the flatiron and start at the scalp so you don't have a bend in the middle of your hair. Just run the iron slowly down your hair. Oh, be very careful not to burn yourself. You might want to get a trim done by a hairstylist and have her show you how to use the flatiron. Getting the ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks actually helps your hair grow faster by getting rid of the dead ends.

In my experience I would seek one of the following options....

Keep in mind that a good hair cut is either below or above the shoulders, in between is usually seen in people trying to regrow...

1). Simply cut it straight across until the layers catch up....

2). Cut it above your shoulders to even it out now.

3). Have your hair layered, if you were happy with it.....

4). Finally use the existing layers to angle starting below your chin, trim the back only....
