Maybe choppy layers all over your head with some streaks in your hair that would look funky but not to over the top. Ask a hair stylist for a good color to match your natural hair! Hope it helps!

The worst::

A straight cut bob or bowl cut. There's nothing worse this season then straight lines- even on long hair or fringes. We're out of the dark ages and this is time for choppy, feathered and layered styles! Also bad is bad colouring for example bleach blonde, or flat orange-ginger. Another style that's well on the way out is asymmetrical cuts long on one side and short on the other. They look flipping ridiculous in my opinion!

The Best and most bang up to date::

Short is very good and funky right now- with choppy layers, messed up or flicked out and with highlights in contrasting or complimentary colours i.e. blonde and brown, or copper in black. Side sweeping fringes are very in at the moment, as is the classic 'bedhead' look. Side partings are in, and turbo-bobs also, although make sure it is choppy and has no defining lines or chunks. Layers are great, feathered fronts, flicks and wax!

Essential tools this season are curved ceramic straightening plates/irons like Charles Worthington's range,

A nicely smelling sculpture or sleek wax,

And a pretty or funky hair clip/grip for that sweeping fringe!

I think Buzz Cuts are not ridiculous at all for females. They're not quite trendy, yet, but if you get one, you might contribute to making it more trendy.
